Getting a Hangyu

Hangyu has a breeding power of 2780, which puts it rarer than 14% of all breedable Pals (lower power means rarer offspring). If you are starting from scratch, the most accessible pairing is Cattiva + Fuddler: at rarity 1 and 1 they are the lowest-rarity parents among all 85 combos.

Is Hangyu worth a base slot?

At a base, Hangyu's best job is Transporting: level 2 makes it the #94 Transporting worker of the 148 Pals that can do the job at all. It also covers Handiwork (Lv 1, #97 of 109), Gathering (Lv 1, #99 of 111). Its combat stats are ordinary (80 HP, 70 attack against roster averages of 95 and 96), so treat it as a specialist rather than a brawler. A food cost of just 1 makes it one of the cheaper Pals to keep fed.
