Bases with working Pals are one of the biggest drivers of Palworld memory use.

Every 12h

Palworld's server has a known memory leak, RAM climbs with uptime. Scheduled restarts reset it and lower the headroom you need.

How accurate is this
Palworld RAM calculator
?

Most Palworld RAM estimates just multiply a flat number by your player count. That misses what actually fills memory on a dedicated server: the number of active bases, the working Pals automating them, and the game's well documented memory leak that climbs the longer your server stays up.

This calculator models all three, plus mod overhead, then sizes the RAM Physgun actually allocates after our engine optimizations. That is why the numbers land lower than the generic 16GB to 32GB you will see quoted elsewhere. You get more out of every gigabyte.

For a few friends, 4GB is plenty. A growing server around 16 players is comfortable on 6GB, and a busy 32 player public server wants 8GB. Those numbers assume Physgun's optimizations and scheduled restarts. On unoptimized hosts you will often see 16GB or more quoted for the same player counts, because their servers carry the memory leak and extra engine overhead that ours trims away.
