How to breed Gumoss
Gumoss never hatches from a mixed pairing. The only way to breed one is to pair two Gumoss together, so your first pair has to come from the wild. Once you have a male and a female, every egg they produce is another Gumoss, which makes stacking perfect passives straightforward.

Catching your first Gumoss
There is no breeding shortcut to Gumoss: no combination of other species produces it, so your first one has to be caught. From then on a male and female pair breeds true, and with a breeding power of 2950 it sits rarer than 8% of the roster.
Is Gumoss worth a base slot?
At a base, Gumoss's best job is Planting: level 1 makes it the #41 Planting worker of the 46 Pals that can do the job at all. Its combat stats are ordinary (70 HP, 70 attack against roster averages of 95 and 96), so treat it as a specialist rather than a brawler. A food cost of just 1 makes it one of the cheaper Pals to keep fed.
Breeding onward from Gumoss
As a parent, Gumoss is remarkably versatile: across all 299 possible partners it produces 112 distinct species. Use the calculator's reverse mode to plan multi-step chains through it.
