New to Ymir?
Ymir is a 4X multiplayer strategy game combined with a city builder, where each player develops a civilization of pigmen starting at the stone age. Every tile of the procedurally generated world map is its own isometric region to explore, settle and build on. You never control your people directly: they breed, age, work and buy things on their own, prices follow supply and demand, and producing too much can hurt as much as too little. Research runs from the stone age to the post-iron age.
Seven biomes, each with its own resources, push players to trade, set routes and sign treaties.
Battles happen in your cities, behind the walls, gates and canals you build.

Why rent a server?
Ymir is made for multiplayer. Real-time mode is for a group that plays together and picks the game up again over several sessions. Persistent mode is meant to run 24/7, so the world keeps going while players are offline and games last weeks. A Ymir dedicated server keeps either one online without leaving a home PC on. With Physgun you set the server name, password, player limit, game mode and save in the panel, shape new worlds in the config editor, and get full file access over SFTP and SSH.
Your world stays up when you log off, so the group can play on their own schedules.
Set the game mode, players and victory rules, and shape every new world's map.
Straight answers before you order. Still stuck? Real people are here around the clock.
Keep your pigmen world online for your group, in Real-time or Persistent mode.
