World setup
Pick the difficulty from Tourist to Overlord, the world size and the seed. Want a fresh map? Change the World ID and the server starts a new world, and your old one is kept.

List your admins by their Steam account ID, and they can use admin commands in game.
Give friends or admins their own panel login with limited access. No password sharing.
One place for your whole wasteland: name, password, player limit, difficulty, world size, seed, admins and game version in the startup settings, a config editor for the map, scheduled restarts and backups, subusers for your crew, a file manager with SSH and VS Code, and every other universal tool.

Accurate, blazing-fast output piped directly from the container. Paired with complete SSH access inside the Panel!

New to Plains of Pain?
Plains of Pain is a post-apocalyptic survival sandbox set in a procedurally generated desert, where the sun is your deadliest enemy. You fight extreme heat, thirst, toxic air and radiation, scavenge ruins, and trade with faction traders for Rusty Nuts and blueprints. Build a base or a whole settlement, craft anti-gravity hover vehicles to cross the wasteland, and help a faction capture outposts, while hordes of Lowlifes, bandits, Overheat events and meteor showers keep the pressure on.
Supply it with food and water so wastelanders move in, production starts and defenders hold off the raids.
Earn reputation and capture outposts for the faction of your choice. No outpost stays safe for long.

Why rent a server?
When one player hosts, the world is only there while they are playing. A dedicated server keeps the wasteland running on its own, so friends can join, leave and work on their bases whenever they have time. You set the rules: the difficulty, world size, seed, player limit and password. With Physgun the server installs itself and gets the latest game update on every restart.
Your bases and settlements stay online 24/7, whether or not the host is playing.
Difficulty, world size, seed and admins, set in the panel and changed whenever you like.
Straight answers before you order. Still stuck? Real people are here around the clock.
Keep your base, settlement and wasteland online for your whole crew, even while you are offline.
