What is Painkiller: Resurrection?
Painkiller: Resurrection is the 2009 first-person shooter from Homegrown Games in the Painkiller series. You are William "Bill" Sherman, a mercenary blown to pieces by his own C4 and stuck in purgatory, fighting his way out with bizarre weapons. Arenas lock you in until every enemy is dead, and optional side tasks reward tarot cards that give you boosts. Online, you play arena multiplayer modes or take the campaign maps on together in co-op.
