What is Freelancer?
Freelancer is a space trading and combat game from Digital Anvil and Microsoft, released in 2003. You pilot a single-seat ship through 48 star systems of the Sirius sector, linked by trade lanes and jump gates and ruled by the Houses of Liberty, Bretonia, Kusari and Rheinland. Trade commodities between stations, take missions, fight in dogfights and buy better ships and gear as you go.
