What is Blind Descent?
Blind Descent is an open-world survival adventure set deep beneath the surface of Mars. A team of pioneers has gone missing, and you go down to find them. The underground is a living ecosystem that reacts to you: you scan and study alien life, gather resources, craft tools, and take over the lost team's abandoned base. Underground storms, toxic gas and aggressive creatures stand in your way, and you choose how to survive them.

Stay human with crafted tools and gear, or mutate and become part of the ecosystem.

Vines, fungus and alien growths take over any part of the base you neglect.

You can split the work: one scouts the depths, one crafts, one keeps the base from being overgrown. No dedicated server for the game has been released yet. As soon as servers open. Blind Descent is not out yet, and no dedicated server for it has been released. Once servers open, you can order one right here.
The developers have not announced a date yet. Blind Descent launches in Steam Early Access first, and they expect to reach 1.0 within a year of that.
Blind Descent has online co-op for up to four players, and you can also play it solo. The developers say all of the story works in both.
Windows, on Steam. PS5 and Xbox Series versions are planned for the full release. The Steam page lists cross-platform multiplayer, but the developers have not said yet which platforms it covers.
