What is Xonotic?
Xonotic is a free, open-source arena shooter in the style of Quake and Unreal Tournament, built on the DarkPlaces engine. It began in 2010 as a fork of Nexuiz. You frag other players with sci-fi weapons that each have two fire modes, pick up health and armor on the map, and get around fast with strafe jumping and rocket jumping. Matches are short, and the next map is voted on or picked from the list.
