What is Far Cry?
Far Cry is the 2004 first-person shooter from Crytek. Freelance mariner Jack Carver is stranded on a tropical island after a militia destroys his boat, and fights his way through jungle, beaches and bases full of mercenaries. Its huge open maps and long sight lines let you choose your attack, from long-range sniping to close-quarters firefights and vehicle combat.
