Whether you’re building an elaborate base, breeding the perfect Pals, or simply want a more laid-back survival game experience, random AI raids can quickly become an annoyance. Fortunately, Palworld allows dedicated server owners to disable raids with a single setting. This guide explains how to turn off raids using either the Physgun control panel or your server’s configuration file.
Turning Off Raids on your Palworld Server in the Physgun Panel
If you’re hosting with Physgun, disabling raids is incredibly simple. You can find all of your config settings in the panel itself, and there’s only 1 you need to modify. To turn off raids using the Physgun panel:
-
Visit your Physgun server panel.
-
Stop your server.
-
Open the Palworld Settings tab in the left navigation bar.
-
Scroll down until you find the BEnableInvaderEnemy line.
-
Change the value from true to false.
-
Restart your server.
Once the server is back up, NPC raid events will be disabled!
Disabling Raids in the Config File
If you’re self-hosting your Palworld server or running a VPS, you can disable raids manually directly from the server configuration file. To turn off raids using the config file:
-
Stop your server.
-
Navigate to your server files.
-
Open the Pal/Saved/Config directory and select either LinuxServer or WindowsServer, depending on your machine.
-
Open
PalWorldSettings.ini. -
Locate the BEnableInvaderEnemy setting and change its value to false.
-
Save the file and start your server.
After your server restarts, random base raids will no longer occur.
Conclusion
Disabling raids is a great option for players who want a more relaxed Palworld experience or prefer to focus on building, exploration, and breeding without unexpected attacks. Whether you’re using the Physgun panel or editing your server’s configuration file manually, changing a single setting is all it takes to prevent NPC raid events standing between you and your experience.
