How to Move Singleplayer Progress to Your Hytale server

If you want to carry your progress from singleplayer into your Hytale server, you can do that by importing your player data. This transfers your character data, inventory, and progress so you don’t have to start over.

Important: Player data is tied to the universe it was created in. Make sure you upload it to the same universe on your server.

Part 1: Locate Your Singleplayer Player Data

1. Open Hytale.
2. Click Worlds.
3. Right-click any world that belongs to the universe you want to use.
4. Click Open Folder.

This opens the universe directory on your computer.

Find the player data folder

Inside the universe directory, go to:

universe/players/

This folder contains the player data files that store your character progress and inventory.

Part 2: Upload the Player Data to Your Server

1. Open your Control Panel.
2. Stop the server before uploading player data.
3. Go to the Files tab (or File Manager).
4. On your server, open:

universe/players/

5. Upload the player data file(s) from your computer into this folder.
6. After uploading, start the server and join to confirm your character and inventory loaded correctly.
