Setting Up a Rust Server with Physgun

The easiest way to get your Rust server running is through Physgun’s managed hosting. Here’s how to get started:

Step 1: Order Your Rust Server

  1. Visit the Physgun Rust Server Hosting
  2. Choose your server location and specifications based on your expected player count
  1. Complete your order and check your email to setup your server!

Step 2: Access Your Gamepanel

  1. Once your server is ready, visit the Physgun Gamepanel
  2. Log in with the credentials provided in your setup email
  3. Click on your new Rust server from the “My Servers” dashboard

Step 3: Configure Your Server

  1. Navigate to Configuration > Server Options to customize your server settings:
  • Server Name: Checkout our server.cfg guide
  • Max Players: Choose your player limit
  • World Size: Adjust map size (default: 2000)
  • World Seed: Set a custom map seed or leave blank for random
  • RCON Password: Set your admin password
  1. Click Save to apply your settings
  2. Use the Start button in the Server Information Box to launch your server
